School Advisory Board The School Advisory Board make recommendations to the Principal and Parish Priest regarding policy formulation related to school development and direction. In order to achieve a balanced agenda, each year the Board shall discuss and formulate proposals covering a topic from each of the following catogories listed below • Administration and Finance

• Community Relations
• Future Development
Maintenance And Ground Improvement Committee The Maintenance And Ground Improvement Committee (MAGIC) oversees improvements to St Dominic’s School through the ‘general maintenance’ and ‘major project’ working bees. Fundraising Committee The Fundraising Committee is responsible to the Principal and meets on a regular basis to organise and co-ordinate fundraising activities for the school. Our school’s curriculum is enhanced from the proceeds of these activities. Parent Welcoming Group Areas of interest and support are • Welcoming of new families • Celebration of Sacramental Program • Organising social events such as: - • Afternoon and morning teas
- • Provide nibbles and cuppa for Parent Information Nights
• Combine with Fundraising Group for events eg. Fashion parade etc
• School Disco.
• Acknowledgement • Recognising the contribution of families to St Dominic’s on Graduation Night - especially when their last child has completed Year 6
• Presentation of pennants to Year 6 students
• Recognition of staff leaving St Dominic’s School
• Support • Back-up support to staff whenever called upon.
